By accessing SkillLobby, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms. Users under 18 must have parental consent. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
User Account Responsibilities
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account. You agree to update your information promptly when it changes. You are solely responsible for your account security and must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breaches.
Coaching Services Framework
SkillLobby facilitates connections between players and independent coaches. We do not directly provide coaching services but serve as a platform for these interactions. Coaches are independent contractors responsible for their own service quality, scheduling, and professional conduct during sessions.
Payment Terms and Conditions
All payments are processed securely through our platform. Fees are clearly displayed before booking confirmation. Refunds are subject to our refund policy and may vary based on cancellation timing. We reserve the right to modify pricing with appropriate notice to users.
Content Standards and Guidelines
Users must not post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or violates intellectual property rights. All user-generated content must comply with our community guidelines. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these standards without prior notice.
Intellectual Property Rights
SkillLobby and its content are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Users retain ownership of their original content but grant us a license to use it for platform operations. Unauthorized use of our intellectual property is strictly prohibited.
Coach Verification and Standards
We implement verification processes for coaches, including skill assessments and background checks where applicable. However, we do not guarantee coach performance or results. Players are encouraged to review coach profiles, ratings, and feedback before booking sessions.
Platform Usage Restrictions
Users may not use automated systems to access our platform, attempt to circumvent security measures, or engage in activities that could harm our infrastructure. Commercial use outside of approved coaching activities is prohibited without explicit permission.
Dispute Resolution Process
Disputes between users should first be addressed through our internal resolution system. For unresolved matters, binding arbitration may be required. We provide mediation services for coaching-related disputes and maintain policies for fair resolution of conflicts.
Service Availability and Modifications
We strive to maintain continuous service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue services with reasonable notice. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.
Limitation of Liability
SkillLobby's liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from platform use. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user in the preceding twelve months.
Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Our data collection and usage practices are detailed in our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms. By using our services, you consent to our privacy practices as described in that policy.
Account Termination Policies
Either party may terminate the account relationship at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms, illegal activities, or other reasons that compromise platform integrity. Upon termination, certain provisions of these terms will survive.
